About The Enfield Community Art Exhibition is a not-for-profit-event with the mission to support the creative community. The annual event showcases artwork selected from an open call by local hobbyists and professional artists and hosts a series of workshops that are free, inclusive and accessible. Additionally, the public can enjoy live painting and artist meets. We hope to bring people to see art and help artists be seen. The theme Home, can be interpreted in any way the artist feels fits, they can consider Home as a concept for safety or joy, they can see someone or a personal belonging to represent Home to them or consider community or their local area as a place they call home. Memories of Home far away or long gone can also be explored and all medium except AI generated work will be considered. Please note that there is limited space for 3D work, but it will also be considered. Prizes This year, our third installment, we have partnered with Arbeit Gallery and Studio to make it bigger and better. We will also have £500 worth of prizes and the opportunity for one successful artist to win the High Street Happenings residency which includes studio space for 12 weeks, a production budget and a solo exhibition. This year's exhibition opening event will form part of the launch programme of Devonshire Square, a new outdoor cultural and community space located in the heart of Palmers Green, developed by Enfield Council. Selected artists will also have an artist spotlight on social media and visibility on the newly launched website. Finally, there will be paid opportunities to deliver a workshop to the public which will help promote your work and practice.
